Washington just got an interesting case submitted to their courts yesterday. Square Enix, a video game company are going after 15 John Does for hacking their site. This case was submitted by two lawyers Brian D Buckley and Kit W Roth. These hackers hacked Eidosmontreal.com and two product websites. Square Enix stated this on its site through this statement that the hackers have taken 350 resumes and 25,000 email addresses but no credit card information (Sony is sad 😛 ). The emails and resumes were probably on their product pages. Some would probably agree that they might of taken Deus Ex Human Revolution and that is why they are going to court to probably subpoena IP’s they believe did the hacking to get their identity’s as well. Also, a poster here brought up this interesting piece of info you can read below.
Good luck to these two lawyers to the left. If these hackers are really really stupid they used their real IP’s but that is highly doubtful. Final Fantasy XIII was a huge letdown and now this happens to Square Enix? Karma? (Played it on the PS3, where it was meant to only be). They even have the balls to make a Final Fantasy XIII-2 when it was utter trash. That is a very very sad thing to see them turn out crap. Oh well.
